Zhejiang Damaiyu Port Development Construction Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005. It takes the central task of operating and developing Damaiyu Port with a passenger and cargo ro-ro terminal of 30,000 tons, a commercial and passenger inspection building of 40,000㎡, and a container yard of 500 mu of land.
Damaiyu Port obtained the qualification of importing fruits in Dec 2021 with a cold storage of 2500㎡,and the qualification of importing fresh aquatic products in May 2024.Taking the cold chain industry as a fulcrum, taking full advantages of the port, expanding trade logistics, strengthening port-vicinity industries, optimizing external cooperation, a characteristic port of agricultural and aquatic products will be built.
The domestic trade routes of Damaiyu Port have basically covered the major ports in mainland and cross-strait. And the port has also opened international routes to Europe, America, Southeast Asia, East Asia and other areas.

CROSS-STRAIT EXCHANGE
As the only cross-strait lane in Zhejiang Province, Damaiyu Port is the main trade channel to Taiwan in Yangtze River Delta region. Over 200,000 passengers have been carried since 2009, and the annual container throughput of cross-strait is over 10,000 TEU.
IMPORTED FRUITS
In Dec 2021,Damaiyu Port obtained the qualification of importing fruits with a cold storage of 2500㎡.In 2022, regular operations of imported fruits were launched and implemented. By 2023, 21 voyages with 3.1 billion yuan of New Zealand kiwis and Chilean cherries in total were imported.
IMPORTED FRESH AQUATIC PRODUCTS
Damaiyu Port obtained the qualification of importing fresh aquatic products in May 2024.A designated supervision site is built for imported fresh aquatic products, with temporary culture place of 2000㎡, which can meet the temporary culturing needs of 50-80 tons fresh aquatic products.
